LIC Bonus Issue 2026: Life Insurance Corporation of India, popularly known as LIC, has announced its first-ever 1:1 bonus issue since listing on the Indian stock exchanges in 2022. LIC has also announced June 1, 2026 as the deemed allotment date for the bonus shares. On this date, the additional shares will be allotted to eligible shareholders. After the allotment, the total number of shares held by investors will double, although the market price of the stock generally adjusts proportionately after the bonus issue becomes effective.
