CA Examinations May 2025 Result Declared

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Examinations held in May 2025. As per the official notification released on ICAI’s website — www.icai.org — the results for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses are released on July 6, 2025.
Thousands of aspiring chartered accountants across the country had eagerly awaited this announcement. The examinations, conducted in May 2025 across multiple centers in India and abroad, saw participation from lakhs of students. With the declaration of results, successful candidates can now proceed with the next steps in their professional journey, while others are encouraged to regroup and prepare for the next exam cycle.

To view their results, students need to enter their roll number and registration number or PIN. Additionally, ICAI had also provided an option for students to receive their results via SMS and email by pre-registering their details.
Pass Percentage and Toppers
While ICAI is yet to publish the detailed pass percentage statistics and merit list on its website, initial trends suggest a moderate pass percentage this time, in line with recent exam cycles. The Final exam results, as usual, saw relatively lower pass rates compared to Foundation and Intermediate levels, underscoring the rigorous standards maintained by ICAI.
The names of the top rank holders from all levels, along with their photographs and marks, will be published soon by the institute on its official platform. These high achievers are often felicitated in formal ICAI events and invited to participate in motivational sessions for future aspirants.

For those who have cleared the Final exams, the next step involves enrolling as members of ICAI and applying for membership and certificate of practice, if they choose to start their own practice. Students who have cleared the Foundation or Intermediate levels will continue their articleship training or register for the next level of exams, as applicable.

Candidates who are not satisfied with their results can apply for verification of marks or certified copies of answer books. The window for such applications typically remains open for about 30 days from the result declaration date. Details regarding the procedure are available on ICAI’s exam portal.
